CECT A380i - The Newest iClone To Introduce Shake Technology And Improvements Upon The iPhone
Just released in January of 2008, the CECT A380i is the latest iClone from China to not only copy but improve upon iPhone technology. Although this phone looks like and performs every bit as impressively as the iPhone, it actually improves upon areas where the iPhone was lacking.
For example, the A380i has added an additional sim slot, making it a dual sim. This gives you the ability to have two cell phone numbers without ever having to close the phone. It also has one-upped the iPhone by adding a removable battery, additional speakers and a slide unlock feature that allows you to immediately unlock the phone and use whatever carrier you wish. (A huge drawback with the iPhone is that you are forced to use AT&T’s service which can be quite expensive.)
Additionally, the A380 has an expandable memory via micro SD cards. The iPhone does not have this memory capability. Perhaps the most innovative of the improvements to the iPhone is the clone’s “accelerometer” or “shake technology” which means if you want to change songs, wallpapers, or photos, you just shake the phone to advance the media. You do not need to look down or spend a lot of time scrolling through.
More, the CECT A380i has everything that makes the iPhone so popular: the 3.0 inch high resolution touch screen, a built in digital camera, Bluetooth, a built in video camera, and MP3 / MP4 players. The clone does not require software. The phone can automatically read any sim card.
The cost of this phone starts at about $150. As time passes, these prices may well fall, but the phone is already pretty reasonably priced for the latest, new and improved, high performing technology. The clone is a wonderful option for someone who wants to try these features in one smartphone / pda / media player without having to pay full price.
